Today (August 31, 2018) marks a major milestone. Today, a documentary that took several years to compile, fund and promote, has been released at major providers. "This is the first documentary of its scale to comprehensively explore this cutting edge issue, which involves sex, politics, and religion, all in the most personal way possible."
It has been a pleasure and an honor to participate in the funding and promotion of this excellent show. I am proud to have been included by Brendon Marotta. I consider myself lucky to have been one of the very first people to get to see this at a screening in Seattle.
This documentary tackles one of the most hotly debated topics of our time. I realize that it's a topic that touches nerves (both literally and figuratively) of every person I know. I know that it leads many to be defensive, regardless of which side of the debate you are on. I realize that this leads many to avoid the topic completely. This has delayed my involvement on the topic as I fear upsetting people and putting wedges between friends, family, colleagues and myself. However, I only wish I would have been more active on the topic sooner and I wish our financial system would have supported an earlier release of this documentary. Alas, we may simply have not been ready for it until today.
Please trust me when I say that this documentary is as non-biased and fair as I believe anything covering this topic can be. Please trust me when I say that this is a must-see. I won't lie, it will stir feelings. But, how many shows have you watched knowing well beforehand that it was going to stir feelings? Just because this is about a very real topic that is likely to strike very close to home, please do not avoid it. You may think you already know all that you need to know of the topic; I beg of you, please keep an open mind as I keep learning more and more as I have over the past 13 years.
There is so much I could say about this documentary, but I don't want to ruin it for you. Please enjoy:

Oh, if you can't afford the show, please reach out. I'll figure out a way.

Intactivist things to do
- Check out sites that provide definitions of penis, foreskin, etc (i.e. brittanica.com) and send them feedback to get proper attention and detail given to foreskin and/or circumcision facts.
- Go to Cancer sites (i.e. American Cancer Society) and give them feedback to give proper information (i.e. do not use the word "uncircumcise.")
- Search for the words "circumcise," "circumcised," "circumcision" or "foreskin" on Facebook and GoFundMe for opportunities to educate.
- When out and about at shopping locations (baby stores, Walmart, Target, etc.) and put informational cards in places where people that are likely having a child will see it. Greeting cards for people that are pregnant is a good example.
- Check out educational institutions and museums where there is a display of the male genitalia and speak out if the display does not show an intact penis. Credit: Tara Nova Draegan for doing this in Vancouver, BC at Science World (and succeeded in getting them to change it!)
- Go to "https://www.customizedinc.com/customer-care/contact-us/" and ask that they give information for intact penis care and to remove reference(s) to circumcision reducing penile cancer risk (according to American Cancer Society).
- In the following e-book, there is a list of school texts (in the references section) that do not cover the anatomy of the intact penis; attempt to contact the publishers and request that they send out an addendum to the owners of their book and to stop distributing their current book: https://books.google.nl/books?id=-IMk5TXEdWQC&pg=PA17&lpg=PA17&dq=An%20Analysis%20of%20the%20Accuracy%20of%20the%20Presentation%20of%20%20%20%20%20the%20Human%20Penis%20in%20Anatomical%20Source%20Materials&source=bl&ots=wyWiSzZXF1&sig=oZ1qqaQ4XQKbT7NExc4LwkG5VOA&hl=en&sa=X&ei=5J_AVL6RDcWvU-OphOAC&ved=0CCsQ6AEwAg&fbclid=IwAR2Boowf6rYL2Xpaaq4BbmTrRzr0lbGft64tUqYvPp8fcrTFpkWL5-JB5Is#v=onepage&q=An%20Analysis%20of%20the%20Accuracy%20of%20the%20Presentation%20of%20%20%20%20%20the%20Human%20Penis%20in%20Anatomical%20Source%20Materials&f=false
- If you're genitally mutilated, make sure the medical system knows about the ill-effects. Go to your doctor and ask them to document the "complications" of your "circumcision." For instance, identify any keratinization of your glans, tight skin and scrotum skin on the shaft.
- If you were genitally mutilated as a minor, file a complaint with the hospital/clinic and with the local authorities where it was done. i.e. https://johnadkison.blogspot.com/2018/10/filed-criminal-complaint-for.html
- Go to dating sites, create fake profiles (as a male on gay sites and female on straight ones) and ask men if they are circumcised.
- Contact providers and let them know your feelings on the topic. www.yourwholebaby.org has kits that can be sent to providers. Here's a tracking list:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Sryhu0ryQ7RFiyiwbv3UPmvEWFsJyPLeVsoC3Wz3nkY/edit?usp=sharing - Look for contact pages or email addresses of providers and ask them whether they would make this brochure available for expecting parents: https://www.yourwholebaby.org/shop/brochure
- Find out when your hospital and/or local government has a public comment meeting where the public is allowed to speak to the board. John Sambrook has done this in Kirkland, WA: https://youtu.be/u1g3uhomMvc
- Start or participate in a petition directed at your state. Here's an example:
https://www.change.org/p/washington-state-house-make-genital-mutilation-of-minors-explicitly-illegal-in-washington-state?recruiter=8381529&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=share_petition&utm_content=fhtcon-13912652-en-us%3Av6&fbclid=IwAR3c_CHTWUK2g8r8IYHDU8p73EtMz398v-vBj00F914hK-fHbJEuu2gmmI0
Here's a letter that was written to the state representatives (found on the state's website) regarding the initiation of the petition:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1kvkgn0D-zKnKJvY8VIqjQ1lG-alZwqeb - Contact the Inspector General (USA specific) - https://johnadkison.blogspot.com/2020/06/contact-dod-inspector-general.html
- Contact daycares that care for infants and ask them how they deal with changing diapers on intact boys. If they give you the correct answer, give them 5 stars on a review site like Google Maps; if they do not, give them 1 star.
- Pin images from genital autonomy sites into Pinterest. This is extremely easy once you have the Pinterest plug-in in your browser.
- Write a blog. Places like blogger.com are free. Who knows, you may even get enough followers and figure out ways to get paid for your blog. But, for the purposes of this, you can do things like include images like this one with tags that may cause the image to show up in image searches:

USA law about male infant circumcision
8/23/2018
I have been looking for specific law that specifically stated that male infant circumcision was legal. I finally found it! And, of course, I am not very happy about it.
I found the text here:
https://americanhumanist.org/news/frank-r-wolf-international-religious-freedom-act-signed-law/
"(3) in subparagraph (B), in the matter preceding clause
(i)—
(A) by inserting ‘‘persecution of lawyers, politicians,
or other human rights advocates seeking to defend the
rights of members of religious groups or highlight religious
freedom violations, prohibitions on ritual animal slaughter
or male infant circumcision,’’ after ‘‘entire religions,’’"
THIS is NOT religious freedom! Religious freedom applies to the individual, not some authority (including a parent)! WOW!!!! I am FURIOUS!!!
This was signed by Obama as H.R. 1150 on Dec. 19, 2016! LOL - here's proof that Obama is not a Muslim, because he would have required the "male" part to be removed!
It further violates the USA Constitution's 14th amendment as boys and girls are supposed to get equal protection!
And, how can this be considered religious freedom when it specifically supports the Jewish based desire to circumcise males, but not the Muslim based desire to circumcise females?! And, before everyone says I'm being anti-Semitic or whatever, I do realize that not all Jews or Muslims practice these customs.
Infant circumcision is persecution of the infant. It's persecuting the infant to make a choice about their religion before they're old enough to understand religious teachings well enough to make *any* decision about it. This section of this law is concerned with persecution of adults! I am persecuted every single day by a religion because I know that I am missing a body part that was taken from me before I had a chance to say NO! Where is my religious freedom?!
I don't want to persecute lawyers, politicians, other "human rights advocates" or other members of religious groups; I just want the persecution of children to stop!
